"Henry started asking questions a few months ago a "Henry started asking questions a few months ago after I had been to a beach baptism. He could tell it was a big deal to me and he wanted to know more. A few weeks later, he saw Rocky get baptized on Kids service. He told me he wanted to get baptized. I thought, 'Oh that's sweet but he doesn't understand it, and we'll just wait until he's older.' I talked him through receiving Jesus and he prayed out loud proclaiming Jesus as his Lord and Savior. ⁣
A week later he asked again after Sunday service. That's when I knew there was more to it. I asked him what he thought baptism means. He told me in one simple sentence something that would take me paragraphs to convey. When worship services with baptisms were announced for September, we knew it was Henry's day. He actually had eye surgery the week before and we found out that we were supposed to keep his eye dry for the 2 week recovery period. That didn't stop us! (You'll see him wearing goggles in the pool.)" - Crissy, Henry's mom⁣
