Paul in Ephesus

July 14, 2013  —

As Paul continues his journey onward to Ephesus, we pause for a moment to learn about Apollos, a Jew from Alexandria who had been teaching the word of God. Although he was a well-educated man, Apollos was able to humbly learn from other disciples who preached about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Then, while in Ephesus, Paul is able to inform the Ephesians about the gifts of theξspritξ- something they knew nothing about.
