Peter’s Sermon

November 19, 2012  —

Despite his clear lack of qualification, the apostle Peter steps out in boldness and delivers the first Š—“sermonŠ— (as weŠ—Èd identify it today). He presents the Gospel message to a people who had just crucified Jesus a few months ago. Peter makes it clear that although each of them is unworthy to receive forgiveness from the Father, they can consider themselves redeemed by the Son of God and invited into His eternal Kingdom, equipped with the power of His Holy Spirit as they walk on the earth.

Scripture: Acts 2:14-41
