Watts Powerhouse Church

Every 3rd Sunday of the month, a team heads up to Los Angeles to serve the community of Watts Powerhouse Church. Pastor Todd Grant of Watts Powerhouse Church describes Watts as a modern-day Samaria; it’s an overlooked community that desperately needs love and support. The Rockharbor team serves by leading worship, serving a meal, and building relationships with the Powerhouse community.

If you’d like to join us, we meet every 3rd Sunday of the month at Rockharbor Costa Mesa at 10:45am. Click the button below to let us know you’re coming!

Los Alisos Tutoring

We want to be a church that doesn’t just take up space but gives back to the community we’re in. We currently meet at Los Alisos Intermediate School, and what better way to give back than by spending quality time with Los Alisos students? This ministry is so much more than simply math tutoring, it’s an opportunity to show God’s love to the next generation. If you want to get involved with this ministry, email Kendall Rodriguez.

Meals On Wheels

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday | 10:30am-12:30pm

Meals On Wheels serves the senior population of Mission Viejo by delivering food and spending quality time with those living in isolation. This is a great opportunity to meet a need in our community and show love to a neglected population. Deliver food, and share God’s love. If you want to get involved with this ministry, email Kendall Rodriguez.

International Justice Mission- Slavery/Trafficking

We had a staff member from IJM come out earlier this year and teach and inform us on what is happening with modern-day slavery. The church responded by 60 people saying yes to becoming Freedom Partners, monthly subscribers who support IJM’s efforts to end slavery. Through prayer and discernment we have decided to start a partnership with IJM and will be supporting the Field Office in the Philippines through financial support, prayer, and awareness events.

We will be having a team info meeting in the next few months. For more information please email Kendall at krodriguez@rockharbor.org

Community Engagement

We want to be a church that doesn’t just take up space in our city. We want to be giving back and partnering with the city to love others. We have multiple events throughout the year that we volunteer and attend. This is an ongoing ministry as we see new needs come up. Some events are the same every year, and some are new according to the relationships formed. For more info email Sharon at sgenton@rockharbor.org
