Therefore go and make disciples of all nations… And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

– Matthew 28:19a, 20b

Proclaiming the Good News of Jesus and Caring for vulnerable people are high priorities to God and his church. Over the next few months Rockharbor is highlighting ways for us to BE the church. During Missions Month, we will be showcasing the ways Rockharbor is living out these priorities and inviting you to participate in all the ways God is moving locally and globally!

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our world in virtually every way. And the global impact on vulnerable communities has been severely damaging. As the Church, we are called to respond. Rockharbor is partnering with Venture to raise support toward providing food and education for vulnerable populations locally and globally. Learn more about Venture’s mission by watching this video.

We do
TOUGH THINGS…

From October 25th – 31st we are calling Rockharbor to log miles and raise support. This could be walking, running, paddle boarding, swimming, biking…whatever you want! Do as many miles as you can over the week and ask friends, family, and colleagues to support you by donating per mile. Challenge yourself and move from comfortable to uncomfortable on behalf of those we’re supporting.

We serve people living in
TOUGH PLACES…

The money raised will be divided between three ministries with three distinct goals.

It’s time for
CHALLENGE WEEK

Navigate to the Venture website to set up your fundraiser, create a personal profile to accept donations, and find apps to log your miles.

Political Forum

Thursday, October, 22 | 7:30pm

Politics are complex, but the way of Jesus is simple: love God and love others (Matt. 22:37-40). So how do these intersect? Join us as we host a round table discussion on how we can use Jesus’ teaching and ministry as a biblical framework around politics. This night will consist of a live round table discussion with leaders in our community followed by small group discussions over zoom.

God is inspiring our church through Missions Month to see what he is up to and take steps of obedience to advance his Gospel and his Kingdom. For many, Alpha is a place to step into God’s story and wrestle with big questions in a safe environment. Third Space is another area where we embody the words and love of Jesus – in our neighborhoods, workplaces, and everywhere else we step foot. Move boldly with love and invite someone to join you at Alpha or say “yes” to your next-best-step of obedience!
