Community is more important than individual freedom.
We must start with understanding the goodness of God, and God’s redeeming love. ξGod has a plan that is larger than our capacity to understand, so we must remember the goodness of God.
Abraham’s compassion for the people of Sodom leads him to beg God not to destroy it.
How do children of God mature into adults that are useful to the Kingdom?
NO CONDEMNATION The same person we’ve been talking about in Romans – “Oh wretched man that I am” is the same person that is SET FREE. NO CONDEMNATION.
We aren’t sinners because we sin, we sin because we’re sinners. ξWe have a choice; to die from sin and stay dead, or die to sin, and have life with Jesus.
The apostle Paul presents us with two options. ξA way of life, and a way of death. ξYou have to understand that your prognosis is death to understand the power of choosing life.
When there is a new heaven and a new earth, all will be set right. ξWe will finally be able to come back home; home to what God had intended earth to be.
We are all sinners. ξNo one is exempt from God’s wrath.
