Hurricane Florence Update

Due to Hurricane Florence, Rockharbor is cancelling services on Sunday, September 16.

We’re currently in the middle of a four week series “Four for For” on what the Church is “For” instead of “Against.” We’re in this series with 75 other churches, representing over 40,000 congregants in the greater Charlotte area.

With that, we are cancelling our services, and inviting you to worship with other local churches that are in the same series. There’s a ton of Wins for this – worshiping together, giving our volunteers a week off, being able to observe other churches and learn from them!

Here are the five other churches that are in the same series:

Near Indian Trail
Carmel Baptist: 8am, 9:30am & 11am; 1145 Pineville-Matthews Rd. Matthews, NC
Church at Charlotte: 9:30am & 11am; 855 Sam Newell Rd Suite 100, Matthews, NC
Team Church: 9:30am & 11:10am ; 2301 Stevens Mill Rd, Matthews, NC

In Charlotte
Antioch Missionary Baptist: 10am ; 232 Skyland Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205
Redemption Church 9:30am; Dowd YMCA 400 E Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC 28202

Every Rockharbor service includes...

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, filled with truths to build our lives upon. As we study the Bible, God leads us to a better understanding of him and of ourselves. We have a team of pastors who regularly teach our communities from God’s word. This Teach Team model celebrates the way God speaks uniquely through different individuals.

Every Rockharbor service includes a robust worship experience. Worshipping through music helps us connect with the Holy Spirit and align our hearts to God’s heart.

As we seek God together, we want to respond to the ways he is revealing himself to us. We make time in every service to respond together. This happens in many ways, but most often through worship, communion, and prayer.

We worship a God who desires to have a relationship with us. As with any good relationship, communication is key. We value prayer in everything we do and make ample time for prayer in our weekend services. Our pastors and volunteer Prayer Teams are available to pray with you at every weekend service.
