Rockharbor has a number of local initiatives and ministries they serve. Coming alongside these ministries helps us move beyond our own church communities, and helps us meet the specific needs of those around us. Rockharbor is committed to pursuing justice in the surrounding local communities.
Love Costa Mesa
Love Costa Mesa is a city-wide serve day on Saturday, May 18 from 9am-12pm. This will be a great time where the whole community can work together to serve at various project sites and make a difference in the city of Costa Mesa!
Royal Family Kids Camp
Royal Family Kids Camp exists to take foster kids, ages 6-11, to summer camp. For kids in the Foster Care system, a feeling of belonging and a sense of identity can quickly become an undercurrent in a storm of unknowns. At Royal Family Kids Camp, however, you have the opportunity to spend a week changing the narrative of uncertainty that many of these kids face daily, filling spaces of doubt with hope, identity, and purpose in Jesus. Foster Teen Camp
Foster Teen Ministry exists to help fill the gap in care for foster teens. The ministry’s desire is to build lasting life-long relationships, community, partnership, and create an atmosphere to help every youth remember why they’re uniquely deserving of a forever home. Currently, we have two ministry volunteer opportunities: volunteers can serve at our monthly gatherings that are hosted on the 3rd Saturday of the month, or volunteer to serve at our summer camp on July 19-21!
(volunteers must be over the age of 21).

Labors of Love
Labors of Love is part of a local neighboring initiative that seeks to identify and serve neighbors in need through manual labor projects such as painting and maintenance.

Royal Family Kids
Royal Family Kids Camp exists to take foster kids, aged 6 – 11, through a one week summer camp to model the love of Jesus Christ and show them that God has a purpose for their life despite their current circumstances. They provide a week of life-changing experiences for abused, abandoned, and neglected foster youth. For more information, email rfk@rockharbor.org.

Watts Powerhouse Church
Watts Powerhouse Church is a growing body reaching out and changing lives through needed ministries with the love of Jesus. The mission of this ministry is to break the cycle of inter-generational poverty and hopelessness in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Watts.

YoungLives
YoungLives gives teen parents the support and love they need. Through one-on-one mentoring, monthly clubs and annual camps, teen moms and dads are empowered to make positive choices, set and achieve goals, and live a future rooted in Christ.

Rockharbor is strategically invested in global partnerships in Uganda, India, and Mexico. We are coming alongside communities who are invested in God’s ongoing work around the world.

Mexico
Alongside our ministry partner Mizpa Church, Rockharbor regularly sends teams to Tecate and its surrounding communities, like Pedregal, to care for the tangible and physical needs of the people there. Through house-build trips and ministry trips aimed at relationship building, we are both witnessing and joining with Jesus as he brings hope to this area.

Uganda
Rockharbor has been partnered with Gulu Bible Community Church since 2006. After the nation was war torn, the Lord opened a door to partner with key leaders to plant GBCC. Today, we continue to work alongside the church to see Jesus made known through a church planting movement across Uganda and aid in the development of local business and education through Renew Gulu.

Harvest India has a mission to spread the Good News to every village in India. Rockharbor came alongside Harvest India in 2005 and has been sending short-term teams to assist them every year since. Harvest India cares for the sick, orphans, widows, and the poor through operating multiple children’s home, colleges, medical clinics and humanitarian efforts.
Child Sponsorships
Renew Gulu
Renew Gulu is a child sponsorship program that was launched by Rockharbor’s Uganda Ministry. Renew Gulu cares for more than 300 kids in Gulu, Uganda. For only $38 a month, you can sponsor a child through the child developmental program and provide education, clothing, shelter, and food for a child in need.
Harvest India
As a church, we support a large children’s home that cares for more than 350 children. We invite you to step into this story by becoming a monthly supporter of one or more of these children. For just $45 a month, you can help transform the future of a child by providing shelter, food, medical care, education and the love of Christ.
